I've had an immense love for two things ever since I was a child- the artistry of hair...and dogs. My love for dogs came very early on. In fact, I was so obsessed with my uncles German Shepherd that I decided to name myself after him at 5 years old. I guess you could say determination is a strong suit of mine because here I am 24 years later...still repping ole' Charlie boys name!
Growing up I always knew I wanted to own my own salon but what I didn't know back then, was just what KIND of salon. In 2013 I obtained my state cosmetology license and received a job in the industry just a few short weeks later. My career came to an end 4 days after, when I came to the realization that although I had a love and talent for doing hair, I just simply did not like people all that much. LOL
After working in several different fields for many years, I felt lost and just flat out bored! In 2017, I decided to pick the clippers back up and give my own dogs a haircut. To my surprise, it wasn't MUCH different than cutting human hair. I began practicing on friends/families dogs after work each day and obtained my business license in 2019. I opened up my first salon in Spartanburg, SC but decided to pack up and move to Shelby, NC a year later to live on family land. You will likely see my dad, sister and uncle hanging around when you visit along with my 4 VERY yappy dogs (Riley, Rambo, Dom & Brady)!
Having four very different dogs myself, I know what it takes to genuinely care for yours just as I do my own. I enjoy working on dogs of all ages/breeds however, I have a major soft spot for the seniors, rescues & misfits. It is very important to me to build a loving & trusting bond with each and every client so that they are happy to come back time after time!

Hello there, my name is Kirstie Dos Santos. In 2020 I was blessed with the opportunity to move to Shelby, NC and be closer to my family. One year later, I decided to leave my corporate job and dedicate myself to a long lasting dream of starting a dog boarding/daycare facility.
My initial step was joining my sister Charlie as her bather for about 1 year. By the summer of 2022, Charlie and I had a full plan together to build a world class facility which would support her grooming activities and my boarding endeavors.
We broke ground on the construction in November of 2022. After many months of dedication, investments, and hard work, we are ready to host your fur babies. I am truly passionate about animals and traveling. I would love the opportunity to give you the ability to travel, work, etc, while knowing that your animal/s is loved and being taken care of.
Around the facility you will likely meet my husband( Eduardo) and beautiful baby boy(Neal). Our other family members include two dogs and a cat (Bella, Chloe, & Graycee). We are very grateful for the opportunity to serve your family!
