We do NOT accept aggressive dogs of any breed OR size! If your dog shows any type of aggression, Cosmopawlitan LLC reserves the right to refuse service and you will be responsible to pay for all services rendered.

We will NOT cause undue stress to your dog by de-matting his/her coat and may require shaving down to the skin. If your dog does require shaving as a result of excessive matting, you will be charged a fee between $5-$15 depending on severity. This process is very time consuming and causes extra wear on grooming equipment. Frequent brushing and grooming appointments are vital to keeping your dogs coat in good condition.

Please note that since appointments are scheduled back-to-back, we cannot accept early drop offs due to the interference of the client before you. Please understand that when you show up before your scheduled appointment time, you are potentially causing an incomplete groom for the client ahead of you as they lose focus when seeing others and become unmanageable in some cases. If you arrive early, please remain in your vehicle. If I am able to accept your dog earlier than his/her scheduled time, I will send you a text to come inside.
If you are 15+ minutes late for your appointment, you will be considered a “no show”. You must call the salon if you are running later than 15 minutes behind and IF we are able to accommodate you, there will be a $10 late fee added to the groom. If we are unable to accommodate you, we will need to reschedule your appointment and a cancellation fee will be applied.
You will be notified as soon as your dog is ready to be picked up. Due to the fact that we practice only low stress handling in a cage free environment, we REQUIRE all dogs to be picked up within 30-45 minutes of the time you are notified. If you are later than 1 hour after being notified that your dog is ready, you will be charged an additional $15 per hour for daycare.

We will always do an inspection of your pet upon arrival and in the bathtub. Your groomer will notify you of anything they find during those. Should any cuts occur during the grooming process, we will notify you and advise you on how to treat these. Injuries caused due to the condition of the dogs matting is NOT the responsibility of Cosmopawlitan, LLC and any vet costs due to these are at the expense of the client.
Loitering is PROHIBITED under any and all circumstances as dogs typically act overexcited, anxious and sometimes aggressive when owners are present, which hinders the grooming process.

Dog grooming is not a "one size fits all" and it is normal to get behind throughout the day due to behavioral issues, matted coats, health issues, etc. You may be given an approximate pick up time but there is NEVER a guarantee. (If you need your dog finished by a certain time, please cancel or reschedule as we are no longer able to accommodate due to the risk of injury and significant stress that rushing puts on the groomer. As soon as your dog is ready for pick up, you will be notified. Please do not text or call during this time as it only causes further delay. Please also do NOT show up until you are contacted as disruption of service often leads to incomplete grooms as dogs typically become overexcited and unmanageable.
In order to better serve our current clientele, we are not accepting any new appointments for new OR existing clients for 2024.
